It grows!

If you've been on the internet sometime in the past six months, chances are you've seen that crazy bubbling face mask growing on people's faces.
It's called the Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask and it's a Korean beauty mask made by the company Elizavecca. It costs $10.35, and it grows on your face as you use it because of its ingredients which include but are not limited to green tea extract, collagen, and charcoal powder. The Amazon reviews are filled with people's pictures of their faces as they use the product. The product reviews boast that it could work for "any skin type." Obviously, we had to try it for ourselves and take our own pics.

So we ordered the masks and put those babies on our faces.
Lara's thoughts going in: I was excited as hell to try this because putting on face masks is my favorite form of "me time." No face mask is too weird for me to try. If it foamed up all over my entire house, I'd still try it. I have pretty oily skin and can get some serious blackheads around my nose so I was looking for something that would dry me up a bit. One downside is that I had no idea what the directions were telling me to do since I couldn't read them. But a quick Google search informed me that it was easy as pie and all you do is slather it on your dirty face, leave it on for five minutes, rub it around, then wash it off.
Nina's thoughts going in: I've never worn a face mask before. EVER. My skin is typically pretty dry. I don’t really have a moisturizing routine either, which is probably why I’m a little sandpaper-y at times. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to skin care, and face masks just seem like a lot of extra work to me. The instructions seemed simply enough, but I was not looking forward to rubbing it in with my fingers. I mean, look at it! Who wants a bunch of gray shit all over their hands? Still, everyone on the internet hypes up this product so much, so I thought maybe this product would make me a face mask convert.
